Q-Dance is a event organisator and a record label that is focused on the harder styles in dance music. Q-Dance is the organisator of some of the best known festivals and parties in the Hardstyle genre araund the world such as Defqon.1, Qlimax, Q-Base and many more.
History[]
In the beginning Q-Dance was only organizing events. With time they also became a record label where they release most of their Anthems (Festival theme songs). Since 2006 Q-Dance is a part of ID&T, with this fusion the Q-Dance founder Wouter Tavecchio took the ownership over ID&T.
With events like Defqon.1 Australia and The Qontinent(Organized together with Bass Events) they also became a international organisation.
Due to the increased tax for events in the Netherlands, Q-Dance had to end the existence of two of their events called In Qontrol and Houseqlassics. They also replaced the new years eve party "Qountdown" with the new "Freaqshow" in 2012/13.
